ABOUT ARTIST
Mher Hamlet Chatinyan (born July 18, 1989) is an Armenian painter and a member of the Union of Armenian Artists.
Biography
Mher Chatinyan was born in the Soviet Armenian city of Kirovakan (now Vanadzor) in 1989. In 2006, he graduated from high school and became interested in painting. His first teacher was his father, who taught painting and the history of art. Since 2006, his works have been exhibited in Vanadzor and Yerevan. In 2010, he graduated from the Department of Painting and Drawing at Vanadzor State Pedagogical University. From 2010 to 2012, he served in the Armenian Armed Forces.
His solo exhibition took place in 2017 in Moscow. He participated in artistic symposiums in Gyumri in 2012, 2013, and 2014, in Tbilisi in 2013, and in Slovakia in 2014.
Since 2012, he has been a member of the All-Armenian Union of Artists, and since 2019, he has been a member of the Union of Armenian Artists.
According to experts, Mher Chatinyan's works reflect the influence of Minas Avetisyan and Martiros Saryan.
